We do not have any relationship with ticketing platforms outside of our ticketing partner, AXS, so we cannot recommend using secondary sites. There is a high chance someone purchased a valid ticket directly from the USGA and then decided to resell their tickets on these secondary resell websites.
With that being said, there is no way for USGA to confirm on our end until you physically get to the U.S. Open and try to scan through the gates. If you do purchase a ticket from a secondary site, the best course of action is to check if the ticket appears in your AXS Mobile ID app on your mobile device via transfer. A valid ticket will display a rotating QR code changing every 60 seconds. If this is the case your ticket(s) will be valid for entry.
