USO Gate Open Times

Below is the information for 2026 U.S. Open Championship at Shinnecock Hills:

All times are Eastern Daylight Time and are subject to change. Starting times will be posted once available at U.S. Open and on the USGA App.

Specific gate times are to be announced come Spring. 

Practice Rounds:

Players will have the option of starting practice rounds on the first or 10th tee.

• Monday, June 15 

• Tuesday, June 16 

• Wednesday, June 17

Championship Rounds 1 & 2:

• Thursday, June 18 

• Friday, June 19 

Championship Rounds 3 & 4:

The first starting time will be determined by the number of players who make the cut at the conclusion of the second round (60 lowest scorers and anyone tying for 60th place).

• Saturday, June 20 

• Sunday, June 21 

Playoff:

Playoff format to be announced.
