Ticket Exchanges, Upgrades, & Refunds

Modified on Wed, 8 Jul at 3:57 PM

The information below is for all ticketed USGA Championships unless otherwise stated:

The USGA has a strict no-refund policy on all USGA Championship tickets. However, many tickets can be transferred by the USGA App, SeatGeek App, USGA website, or SeatGeek website. For a comprehensive guide on how to transfer tickets, please read the article titled: Transferring a USGA Championships Ticket.

If a fan wishes to sell their tickets, the USGA recommends utilizing the SeatGeek Resale Marketplace. Any tickets sold and/or purchased via the SeatGeek Resale Marketplace are 100% verified and authentic tickets.

Exchanging & Upgrading Tickets

Contact the USGA Ticket Department at tickets@usga.org

If you have purchased USGA Championship tickets and wish to exchange them for tickets of equal or greater value of the same event, please contact the USGA Ticketing Department. When doing so, please provide the following details:

  • Email address associated with the SeatGeek account used to purchase tickets.
  • Order Number.
  • Description of tickets you currently have, including event, date, and type of ticket.
  • The exchange and/or upgrade you are requesting including event, date, and type of ticket.

Once received, we will review your request and respond with confirmation details if we are able to complete the exchange. If there is any price difference, we will notify you of the remaining balance to be charged before finalizing the exchange.

You may contact our official ticketing provider, SeatGeek, from 9 am - 1 am EST, at 1-888-774-0275. A SeatGeek representative can assist you with the ticketing process and help you exchange or upgrade tickets over the phone.
