The information below is for all ticketed USGA Championships unless otherwise stated:

The USGA encourages fans to capture their favorite moments at our championships and stay connected with family and friends while onsite. To ensure players and other fans are not distracted or disrupted, please follow these guidelines:

  • Device Size - Fans may carry mobile devices smaller than 7 inches in length or height.
  • Volume & Flash - Devices must be set to silent or vibrate and flash photography must be turned off.
  • Phone Calls - Make calls only in designated fan zones and away from areas that could disrupt play, including grandstands.
  • Photography & Recording - Personal photography, video, and audio recording is permitted throughout the course. Content must not be used for commercial purposes. Live streaming or shot-by-shot coverage of any player, with or without video, is prohibited at all times.
  • Prohibited Equipment - Selfie sticks and handheld camera stabilizers are not allowed. Cameras (point-and-shoot, film, DSLR) and video cameras are not allowed, except during practice rounds, for personal use only.
  • Compliance: All posted signage and instructions from championship staff and volunteers must be followed.

Important - Conducting a world-class championship is our priority. Violation of any of these policies may result in immediate expulsion and loss of ticket privileges for the remainder of the Championship.
The USGA reserves the right to amend the List of Prohibited Items at any time to provide a safe and secure Championship.
